Prefrence
« on: May 08, 2012, 07:10:34 pm »
When I set my preferences in YTK ie no cam invites etc. Everything works fine while I'm logged on but as soon as I reboot YTK all settings revert back to original settings.
I have tried reinstalling YTK but that has not solved the problem.

Are you running YTK as administrator?

Also do you close Yahoo! Messenger first?

Are you running YTK as administrator?----   Yes

Also do you close Yahoo! Messenger first? ----- No I close YTK first as I have always done and that would automatically close Yahoo at the same time.
But since I recently formated my computer and reinstalled YTK it fails to remember mypreferencee and it also fails to shut down Yahoo.

Yahoo! Messenger should always be closed first. If you close Yahoo! Messenger it will close both programs and remove the system tray icons for Yahoo! Messenger and YTKE.

Try closing Yahoo! Messenger first and see if YTK's settings save.

Done as asked but still does not remember preference,,, Everything was fine until I formated and reinstalled YTK and messenger.

How do I completely remove YTK from my computer ? and try a fresh install.
